Marie Lemerise, President, leads the project team, conducting fieldwork and analysis. Intrigued by why people do what they do, Marie enjoys the hunt for ever-new insights and solutions. She has applied innovation to the practice of market research for 20 years. While an account planner at leading advertising agencies she gained an appreciation of an interdisciplinary approach to understanding consumer behavior.
In 1998 Marie founded an independent research firm that evolved to become the tapestry group. Her practice is focused on helping clients achieve success with strategic initiatives. Marie has worked extensively in categories ranging from financial services to travel and entertainment to pharmaceuticals. She has served clients ranging from Procter & Gamble to General Electric to American Express.
In addition, Marie has written on issues influencing consumer behavior. She co-authored Change As Context a look at consumer attitudes post 9/11. For the Advertising Research Foundation she presented Meet the New Parents, reporting on a global study of brand choice at a pivotal transition point. Recently Marie presented The 7 C's of Brand Attachment, What Women Really Want at a major marketing conference.
